Journey to Jazz

Alongside releasing independent music and collaborating with various artists, Waldon is currently developing new international artistic collaborations with musicians in Switzerland. He is also part of the ongoing Ancient Voices project with Swiss violist and composer Klara Ruettimann, a cross-cultural collaborative initiative exploring musical exchange, identity and contemporary creative practice between South Africa and Switzerland.

He previously worked within the non-profit sector as a Creative Arts Director, where he focused on artistic development, community engagement and interdisciplinary creative projects. Over the years, he has performed at local South African festivals and cultural events, including Journey to Jazz Festival in Prince Albert the Suidoosterfees, KKNK Festival and #us4us Concert.
